NEW BOARD MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT

Feeding South Florida is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to our board of directors.  This new member brings a wide base of support and influence to our organization and we are excited to have him join us in our mission to reduce hunger in South Florida.

Louis Nostro- Partner of Shutts & Bowen LLP, joined Feeding South Florida’s board of directors in May 2010.

Louis Nostro is the Chairman of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group.  Mr. Nostro specializes in estate planning, with primary emphasis on valuation planning (designed to transfer assets to younger generations with minimal or no transfer tax liability) and charitable planning.  He is certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in two areas: Taxation and Wills, Trusts and Estates.

Mr. Nostro is a Fellow of the American College of Trusts & Estates Counsel and a member of the Executive Council of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar Association.  He is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of Plymouth Congregational Church, Coconut Grove, Florida, and serves as the pro bono legal counsel to The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind.
