Food Drives

Food banks were formed on a simple principle that by capturing the waste in the community, we could alleviate hunger. We strive to capture excess food from the community to help feed our neighbors in need. If you are interested in starting a food drive for FSF, please review the information below.

To organize your food drive:

Step 1: Plan a time, a place, and identify what you will use for collection vessels.
Step 2: Publicize your food drive to your employees, vendors, friends, etc.
Step 3: Conduct your food drive!

Most useful items:

Canned meats/tuna
Rice and beans (Dry or canned)
Canned fruits & vegetables
Canned soups
Macaroni & cheese
Plastic Peanut butter and jelly
