BECOMING A MEMBER AGENCYWe welcome your interest in providing assistance to our community! Feeding South Florida is a federally recognized non-profit organization that warehouses and distributes food products to other federally recognized non-profit agencies. SNACK PROGRAMThe goal of Feeding South Florida's After School Snack Program is to provide school-aged children who are at risk of hunger and malnutrition with nutritious after-school snacks. We work with the Children's Trust and the Florida Department of Health to provide snacks to thousands of children every day after school. Click to view qualification criteria and contact information. Through our partnerships, we are able to not only provide snacks during the school year but also during the summer months when children at risk of hunger might normally go without any meal assistance. We currently serve public schools, children's centers, after-school educational and enrichment programs, and churches that are participants of The Children's Trust. Feeding South Florida, The Florida Department of Health and The Children's Trust provide this needed service to eligible site for free. SNAP PROGRAMTo further help those in need, Feeding South Florida now offers the SNAP center. This program provides our neighbors with application assistance and access to the Internet, faxes, phones and copiers. Visit the SNAP page to find out more about applying for these benefits. KIDS COUNTFeeding South Florida is pleased to offer the Kids Count store to teachers at South Florida Title 1 schools. Many classrooms lack the necessary tools to provide the best education. School supplies are free, but shopping appointments are required. Click here for more information. GOVERNMENT BENEFITSNeed more help?
