Kids CountIt’s no secret that many of today’s teachers spend money from their own pockets to purchase classroom supplies. Decreasing school district budgets coupled with the low economic status of Title 1 schools cause a dire need for classroom supplies and learning tools. The new Kids Count program at Feeding South Florida is a retail store environment where Title 1 teachers shop for classroom supplies free of charge. The Kids Count store includes paper, spiral notebooks, binders, markers, crayons, pens, pencils and much more. For more information on the Kids Count program please contact Juli Zeno at (954) 518-1842 or jzeno@feedingsouthflorida.org.
