Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry (MFP) is one of Feeding South Florida's most innovative and effective ways to bring much needed fresh produce into areas that have been deemed food deserts. A food desert is an area in which a majority of the residents have limited access to large retail stores with fresh food and grocery products. The residents in these neighborhoods live below the federal poverty level, as determined by the United States Government. Through FSF's MFP, indiviudals and families are able to access fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, and bread that are so vital to maintaining a proper diet.

For information on our Mobile Food Pantry Program, please contact our Mobile Distribution Coordinator, Charles Bandy at 954-518-1836 or cbandy@feedingsouthflorida.org.
